The 3W LED Light source of NTZ-Headlight NSI-III provides 3 differing intensities of cool white light, ranging from 13,000 Lux to 40,000 Lux at a distance of 9.84 inches.

The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III is powered by included rechargeable NiMH AA "Eneloop" batteries and can deliver the brightest illumination level for 4 hours. The NSI-III can run for 7 hours at the middle-intensity level and a whopping 17 hours at low illumination, enough to power through even the longest days in the clinic. The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III comes packaged with a battery charger that can recharge the batteries in just 4 hours. This device can also be used with standard replaceable AAs, giving it the versatility to function on the road and during outages in emergency situations.

The housing of the battery pack easily fits most jacket pockets, and the long cable connecting it to the LED illuminator makes it effortless to use and carry. This design avoids placing all the weight on the nose and makes it comfortable for any duration of use.

The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III gives users the light they need for direct viewing or for video/image capture using the SC-I surgical camera that is compatible with surgical loupes by Neitz.
